The Azkals win 4-1 against the Bonner team in their second match against German football teams. Bonner SC U19 is the football team of Bonn, Germany where the games were also held. The games are part of their two-week training in Germany in preparation for their match against Sri Lanka on June 29 and July 3.
The warm reception of the Filipino community in this part of Europe must have also helped in keeping the spirit of the players in good shape. Not only did the supporters watch the game rain or shine and under cold weather, they also watched the games in uniformed Philippine flag jackets.
They also came with the Philippine flag and food in tow. Not to forget lots of warm welcome for the Philippine National Football Team.
The Azkals will go south in the following days to test their strength against the football teams of Ingolstadt on Wednesday and Darmstadt on Friday.
